Alden 1007P Master Extractor Kit

The Alden DRILL-OUT Broken Bolt Extractor Kit is a 10-piece set designed for the removal of damaged screws and broken bolts using a power drill. Made from high speed tool steel, this kit offers long life and combines a drill bit and extractor in one tool. The master Extractor Kit includes the entire range of Alden quality tools, such as the Drill-out, Micro Grabit, and X-out extractors, for quickly and easily removing broken and damaged fasteners.

The kit can be used to remove screws ranging from No.6 to 14 and bolts from No. 5 and 6 all the way up to 1/2 inch (3 - 12mm). The Drill-out tool can drill into broken bolts on center and extracts using the power of the drill. It incorporates a unique interaction between the drill bit and extractor, resulting in maximum impact and break-out ability. The Micro Grabit extractor can quickly remove broken bolts and can drill on center using a 1/8 inch variable speed reversible rotary power tool or quality power screwdriver. It can also remove most broken bolts ranging from No. 5 and 6 (3mm) to 1.4 inch (6mm) from wood, metal, or plastic.

Both the Drill-out and Micro Grabit can drill up to grade 8 and 10.9 class fasteners with precision engineering for multiple extractions and maximum performance. The serrated extracting end of the tool results in greater torque for hard to remove bolts and screws. The X-out damaged screw remover can extract most screws by simply applying pressure on the fastener head with a reversible power tool or can be used manually with a ratcheting screwdriver. It can quickly and easily remove damaged screws such as Hex, Philips, Torx, and Square drive screws.

The drill head of the tool is bell-shaped, allowing it to be pivoted inside the drill hole to help it stay on center. It also features a self-centering drill tip with no walking or wandering, and no pilot hole is required. Additionally, it works on jagged, uneven, and rough breaks with no grinding or center punching required. The tools are tempered twice for extra hardness, resulting in multiple extractions per tool. They are made from M2 HSS, the highest quality steel used, and are made in the USA.
